Individualized Pediatric Physical Therapy Services
Every child develops on their own timeline, but sometimes, a little extra support makes all the difference. Our services are designed to meet your baby or child exactly where they are, giving you clarity, a plan, and expert guidance every step of the way towards where they are headed.
What We Offer
Comprehensive Evaluations – A thorough look at your child’s motor skills, posture, movement patterns, and overall development. You’ll leave with answers and clear next steps for progress.
Custom Home Exercise Programs – Easy-to-follow activities tailored to your child’s needs, and designed to fit into your daily routine.
Individualized Treatment Sessions – One-on-one support in office, where we guide and adjust exercises to keep your child progressing.
Intensive Programs – Focused, short-term therapy blocks that accelerate progress for families seeking more hands-on support with options for durations of 2, 4, or 6 weeks available.
Because individualized care means you never have to wonder if you’re “doing enough” or “doing it right.” You’ll know exactly what to do and why it matters.
Evaluations
Every child’s journey starts with a comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluation. During this appointment, we take a close look at your child’s movement patterns, strength, posture, and overall motor development. You’ll leave with:
Clear answers about your child’s current skills
Insight into what’s typical vs. what may need extra support
A plan for the next steps, whether that’s ongoing therapy, a home program, or reassurance that your child is on track
Evaluations are ideal for families who feel unsure about a milestone (like rolling, sitting, crawling, or walking) or who want professional guidance on specific areas of concern.
Custom Home Exercise Programs
For families who want professional guidance at home, a custom home program provides targeted activities designed to fit into everyday life. Each program is:
Tailored to your child’s unique needs and developmental goals
Practical with exercises that can be done at home with minimal equipment
Flexible to fit into your family’s routine
These programs empower caregivers with the tools and confidence to support their child’s progress outside of the clinic.
Individualized Treatment Sessions
One-on-one sessions provide a combination of hands-on and instructional techniques in a supportive, nurturing environment. During these visits, we’ll:
Guide your child through purposeful play and therapeutic activities
Adjust exercises in real time based on their response
Teach you what to look for and how to continue progress at home
Frequency of treatment sessions are determined on a case by case basis in conjunction with your goals.
1:1 Developmental Chats
These 30 minute virtual or in person chats are educational in nature, and include a general assessment of your child’s current developmental status, recommendations for encouraging age expected gross motor milestones and purposeful play tips, environment set up suggestions for hands-on practice.
Q&A regarding your child’s development currently or in the coming weeks and months.
They include a downloadable milestone checklist with age range expectations & information is included as well!

Individualized Intensive Programs
Sometimes, kids benefit most from focused bursts of therapy rather than spreading sessions out over months. That’s where our intensive pediatric physical therapy programs come in.
Why intensives?
Many children make more progress toward their goals in a few weeks of focused, daily therapy than they do in months of traditional therapy. Intensives provide the consistency and repetition kids need to build strength, coordination, balance, and new motor skills.
What it looks like:
1–3 hours per day
4 days per week
2, 4, or 6 weeks in length
Customized to your child’s needs and goals
Each program is designed after a thorough evaluation. We’ll work with you before and during the program to decide the best frequency, duration, and tools. Throughout the intensive, you’ll see measurable progress and learn how to carry strategies over into daily life.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Journey Through Milestones PT is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. Families receive a superbill after each visit, which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Many families choose this route because it allows us to provide highly individualized, evidence-based care without the limitations insurance often places on therapy frequency or duration.

If you’re concerned about your baby’s motor milestones, or if your child has been diagnosed with a condition like torticollis or hip dysplasia, an evaluation can give you answers and peace of mind.
