When you attend an intensive with Journey Through Milestones Physical Therapy, our therapists create a custom program individualized for the needs & goals of every single child.
Your therapist will work directly with you before & during the intensive to determine the ideal duration, intensity & tools used to help your little one achieve their goals - which most children will do during their intensive program with us!In fact….many children gain significantly more progress towards their goals during an intensive therapy program than they do in months & months of traditional therapy!
What do the intensive programs & schedules look like?
While each program will vary slightly based on the goals & needs of each child, intensive formats with Journey Through Milestones Physical Therapy currently consist of 1-3 hours a day, four days a week, for 2, 4, or 6 weeks. These programs are based on improving strength, coordination, functional skills, balance & overall milestone acquisition through the use of various treatment techniques and modalities.
